Paleo Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 14 oz can Coconut Milk full fat, not lite
  • 1 5 oz can coconut cream
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 vanilla bean

Instructions

  • Cut the vanilla bean in half lengthwise and scrape the seeds out. Check out the tutorial above if you need help with this.
  • Add all ingredients to your blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and consistent.
  • Pour the liquid into the frozen bowl of your ice cream maker.
  • Follow manufacturers instructions. But generally, turn on ice cream mixer and mix until it reaches the consistency of soft serve ice cream. Then pour into a freeze safe container. Freeze for 2-3 hours. If you freeze overnight, you will need to defrost for a few minutes before scooping and serving.

Notes

Freeze your ice cream bowl for at least 24 hours before making the ice cream.
