Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter

An easy recipe for pumpkin butter made with your slow cooker or instant pot!

Ingredients

  • 2 15 oz. cans pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 orange juiced

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to the bowl of your slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  • Cook on high for 4 hours.
  • Allow to cool and transfer to individual jars. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for 2 months.

Notes

If using your pressure cooker, be sure to read the instructions for setting it to slow cooker mode. Usually you will need to adjust the knob to vent.
